Trout is an Italian comedy about fears that can only be faced with humour. This captivating story about a letter that finally finds its recipient and changes the lives of a car mechanic, his wife and a worker from a local factory, deals with the theme of fear of finitude and is built on comedic situations. The unique combination of poetry and humour gives the actors – Pavel Liška, Alena Mihulová and Jaromír Dulava – the opportunity to make the most of their temperament.
A beautiful memory is a musical tragicomedy about „divine Florence“, whose passion for singing was stronger than her talent. Bára Štěpánová and Ondřej Brousek effortlessly balance on the edge of laughter and emotion. And you will definitely leave enchanted.
When you want a story that will stay with you
A story from the zoo, Edward Albee's famous drama is based on a simple encounter between two lonely men on a bench in New York's Central Park. The dialogue, which begins innocently, turns into a gripping play about loneliness, the desire for connection, and personal boundaries. Starring David Švehlík and Ondřej Brousek.
The road to the waterfalls is a stage road movie about a stepfather and his teenage daughter who set off on a long journey through the American Midwest to try to reconnect and find mutual understanding. Tension, humour and painfully true moments are delivered by Jiří Langmajer and Anežka Šťastná.
Shell is a comedy about an unexpected friendship and the path to freedom. What happens when quiet librarian Halina and confident Roxana meet by chance? A friendship develops that changes their lives. The acting duo of Petra Nesvačilová and Alena Mihulová brilliantly combine humour with subtle emotions in a story about friendship and courage that can provide the impetus for new beginnings. The production has already celebrated its 200th performance!
When you want a little bit of everything
Old Masters is a Dutch tragicomedy that takes you behind the scenes of the theatre and into the fragile relationship between two feuding brothers from a famous acting family, who are also fellow actors. In their old age, they decide to restart their theatre careers in a joint project and save their family relationships. A bittersweet dialogue about family, profession and things that are difficult to forgive. František Němec and Milan Hein on stage.
Deuce is an intimate play by British playwright Jim Cartwright, somewhere between drama and clowning.
