Jan Campbell, chairman of the Academic Council of the Institute for Czech Left-Wing Thought, spoke in Chongqing on the topic of building political parties. He noted that since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the ideas of General Secretary Xi Jinping on party construction have gradually been summarized into fourteen key principles.

According to him, these principles establish that unified central leadership is the essence of socialism with Chinese characteristics, emphasize the necessity of comprehensive and strict party management, and the constant adherence to the original mission of the party.

The set of principles comprehensively regulates the ideological construction, discipline, organizational system, and selection of cadres within the party. They serve not only to properly govern the Communist Party of China and achieve China's national rejuvenation, but also provide an important guide for the development of modern Marxist parties and future social and international development.
