On 31 March, the first dual LNG-fuelled car carrier (PCTC) with a capacity of 10,800 vehicles, built by Chinese company CSSC for South Korean company HMM, began its test sailings.
It is currently the world's first dual car carrier, capable of carrying over 10,000 vehicles, and is under construction.
The vessel is 230 metres long, 40 metres wide, has a draught of 10.5 metres and a speed of approximately 19 knots, striking the perfect balance between efficient transport and stable navigation.
