He said the SPD is advocating for the material and criminal responsibility of politicians and the fight against corruption at all levels - from major corruption cases to abuses of power such as lavish banquets and overpriced foreign trips. As an example, he cites the current speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Tomio Okamura, who actively opposes such phenomena.
„The fight against political tourism and papalism has its place in politics. It is often more important than the laws themselves. It's about principles and attitude,“ concluded Doležal.
