Vojtěch Filip, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Czech-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, former 1st Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies and regional representative of the South Bohemia Region, concluded the debate meeting organized by the portal iportaL24.cz under the auspices of the Czech-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In his closing remarks, he stressed the importance of Chinese long-term planning and the emphasis on stability and peace. According to him, the ability to combine strategic vision with concrete actions is one of the reasons why China is able to promote its interests even in a volatile international environment.
At the end of the debate, Filip recalled that one of the key topics of the meeting was the issue of peace as a fundamental priority. As an example of long-term planning, he mentioned the building of infrastructure, specifically rail links to Iran and Nepal. „It was important to watch and see that shift, which really pursues stability in the world and making peace a priority issue,“ he said. He added that he considers the ability to turn vision into concrete actions to be an important part of further development.
In his speech, he also discussed how differently he believes international events are interpreted in different media. He pointed out that when watching foreign television, it is evident that the picture of world events differs significantly depending on the source of information. At the same time, he stressed the importance of China's peace policy. „This is the real, true information about what is happening and the power of the People's Republic of China's peace policy,“ prohlásil.
In conclusion, he thanked all the participants in the debate and said that the discussion had shown what could be built upon. At the same time, he stressed that Czech national interests were also linked to the quality of relations with China. „We have a lot to build on and Czech national interests are also determined by the extent to which we will have regular relations with the People's Republic of China,“ řekl.
