The Czech-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by JUDr. Vojtěch Filip, sees China's 15th Five-Year Plan and its policy of „modernisation in the Chinese style“ as a significant opportunity to deepen mutual economic cooperation.

In an exclusive interview with CMG, Filip emphasised that China's open economy and long-term sustainable development plan create ideal conditions for fulfilling the vision of a shared future for mankind through mutually beneficial cooperation.

· Digital technology and the green economy: Czech companies are interested in expanding cooperation in these areas and in joint research.

· Energetika: The successful cooperation continues in solar energy and is expanding into wind energy.

· Zdravotnictví: Cooperation in pharmaceutical and technological research is expected to grow.

· Cestovní ruch: Despite the recovery from the pandemic, there remains great potential for further development.

Specific mechanisms for cooperation:

· Zapojení MSP: Cooperation at regional and municipal level through partnership agreements is most effective.

· Scientific research cooperation: Colleges, universities, and academic institutions represent the most promising area for joint development.

· Investice: Exploiting opportunities for Czech investment in Chinese regions, including technology transfer.
