MOSCOW, 14 July. /TASS/. The assassination of Russian President Vladimir Putin, which was reported by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Kirill Budanov (known in Russia as a terrorist and extremist), was prepared with US money. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova wrote about it on her Telegram channel.
The spokesman for the head of state, Dmitry Peskov, said that Putin is sufficiently protected from Kiev's threats.
"Yesterday, one of the leaders of the Kiev regime, Budanov, openly admitted that Ukrainian intelligence is preparing assassinations of the Russian president. So this assassination was again prepared with American money, without which there would be no malicious activity of the GUR, SBU and Bankov in general (the office of the Ukrainian president is located on Bankova Street in Kiev - TASS news agency notes)," said the diplomat.
Earlier, Budanov spoke of attempts to assassinate the Russian leader. In response, Peskov told the Shot that Putin's security is ensured at the appropriate level.
