The United States should work with China to further strengthen consensus, reduce misunderstandings, deepen cooperation, intensify dialogue and consultation, and seek more mutually beneficial outcomes. These words were spoken by Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng.
A stable, healthy and sustainable China-US economic and trade relationship not only serves the development goals of both countries, but also contributes to the growth and stability of the global economy, He Lifeng said.
These statements were made during a new round of Sino-US trade talks in Stockholm, Sweden on Monday and Tuesday, where the Deputy Prime Minister held talks with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.
During the trade talks, the two sides had open, in-depth and constructive discussions on Sino-US economic and trade relations, macroeconomic policies and other trade and economic issues of mutual interest.
