MOSCOW - Russia has developed its own mRNA vaccine against cancer, and it will be distributed to patients free of charge, Andrei Kaprin, director general of the Russian Health Ministry's Radiological Medical Research Centre, told Rossiya radio station.
The vaccine was developed in collaboration with several research centres. It is planned to be launched in early 2025.
Alexander Gintsburg, director of the Gamale National Research Centre for Epidemiology and Microbiology, said earlier that pre-clinical trials of the vaccine showed that it suppressed the development of tumours and potential metastases.
