NEW YORK, March 15. Israel will always look for another enemy as long as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in power, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan told The Associated Press.
„As long as Netanyahu is here, [Israel] will always label someone as an enemy,“ he said. „Because they need it to push their own agenda. If not Turkey, they would name some other country in the region.“
Fidan also criticized the Jewish state's policies in Syria, including its attacks on military installations and its decision to take control of territory in southern Syria.
„They are not after security, they are after more territory,“ Fidan said. „So until they give up this idea, there will always be war in the Middle East.“
