CANADA - Zelensky spoke of last night's Russian attack on civilians, civilian infrastructure and residential buildings using 440 Iranian "shahids" and 32 missiles, including ballistic missiles.
He discussed steps for further diplomatic work with partners in NATO, the G7 and the Coalition of the Willing, strengthening Ukraine's air defence, further deepening our military cooperation, including joint arms production projects and investment in Ukraine's defence industry.
Zelensky expressed gratitude for the new sanctions against the Russian shadow fleet, a number of Russian individuals and more than 40 companies in Russia and other countries that help Russia circumvent sanctions. Special thanks for new military support for Ukraine: drones, helicopters, ammunition worth over $2 billion and an additional tranche of over $2 billion at the expense of profits from frozen Russian assets.
