The UN@80 campaign with China and the "One World: Shared Future" exhibition, co-organized by CGTN and UN agencies in China, was launched in Beijing. The event commemorated the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and highlighted its key role in creating a more just world order.

Shen Haixiong, vice president of the Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and president of China Media Group, said in a video message that young people are "like the rising sun" and their voices are indispensable to the world. He recalled CMG's commitment to strengthening the voice of the UN and breaking down prejudices through media and visual art.

UN Undersecretary Melissa Fleming praised China's support for multilateralism and recalled that the principles of peace, equality and dignity remain as relevant as they were 80 years ago. UN Coordinator in China Siddharth Chatterjee described the campaign as a call to look to the future and create a "legacy of peace and sustainability".

More than 56,000 young creators from 51 countries submitted their work to the "One World: Shared Future" challenge. The 35 best works reflecting themes such as peace, education, poverty, climate and biodiversity were awarded. The exhibition also showcased new CGTN documentary projects such as "China's Green Revolution" and "Blue Helmets, No Borders".

The UN anniversary celebrations will continue in China with other events, including subway campaigns, social media activities and public screenings.
