Putin has legislated the status of large families

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree in which the status of a large family is established at the federal level. The document also defines measures to support families with three or more children. Tass reports the details today, January 23.

The document is already available on the official legal information portal.

"It is determined that a large family in the Russian Federation is a family with three or more children whose status is set indefinitely," Putin's decree reads.
