China and Germany issue joint statement pledging to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation

China and Germany issued a joint statement on Wednesday affirming that mutual respect, mutual benefit and the win-win principle, continued open dialogue and cooperation in addressing common challenges are the basic principles for the development of Sino-German relations.

Both sides stressed that economic and trade cooperation is an important part of bilateral relations and expressed their willingness to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.

Both sides are also willing to address mutual concerns appropriately through frank and open dialogue to ensure long-term, balanced, reliable and sustainable economic and trade cooperation.
