London has seen a unique premiere - the first-ever overseas screening of the Chinese space documentary "Shen Zhou 13", shot in breathtaking 8K resolution. The film chronicles the six-month mission of the Shenzhou-13 crew through the eyes of the astronauts themselves.
The film was shot by astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu on board the Chinese space station. It brings viewers not only spectacular shots of space, but also intimate moments of everyday life in weightlessness.
The premiere took place at a gala evening at the Chinese Embassy in London to mark the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The event was attended by more than 400 guests from diplomats, scholars and the public. The documentary has become a symbol of cultural and technological cooperation between China and the UK.
