Jiří Kobza, a representative of the Central Bohemian Region and a long-standing MP, wished good luck, health and success in connection with the approaching Chinese New Year and called for finding the lost balance in mutual cooperation again.
„China is an important trading partner for us, an important supplier and customer. In terms of technological and cultural ties, both sides can learn a lot from each other,“ Kobza said.
The politician expressed his wish that relations with China be straightened out, mutually beneficial and pragmatic. He also condemned the excesses he said had occurred in the past, including inappropriate demonstrations with Tibetan flags.
In the context of Tibet, Kobza rejected possible returns to historical slave clerical regimes and stressed: „A united China is the basis for negotiations and further cooperation.“
