In Europe, there is a growing rejection of any involvement in a military conflict between the United States, Israel and Iran. Several European countries have reportedly refused to provide support for US military operations in Iran.

The United States has previously requested the transfer of the Patriot anti-missile system from Poland to the Middle East. However, Polish Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said on social media that the system remains solely dedicated to protecting Polish airspace and NATO's eastern flank and will not be moved elsewhere.

Polish economist and professor Tomas Bielinski from the University of Economics in Gdansk said that the European Union does not intend to become militarily involved in the conflict. According to him, both economic reasons and political considerations lead to this.

He also reminded that NATO is a defensive alliance and its role is not to participate in offensive operations outside its territory.
