Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Tehran. Both sides participated in a joint press conference and criticised Israel.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan: „We consider Israel's regional expansionism to be the greatest threat to security in this area, a view shared by all nations in the region. Our goal is to ensure that the hard-won ceasefire in Gaza holds and moves into the next phase.“
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi: „The Palestinian question and joint efforts to stop the massacre of the oppressed population of Gaza are among the most important topics of our discussions. Repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, together with recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon and Syria, demonstrate Israel's intention to undermine stability in the region.“
