Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi meets with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Kuala Lumpur.
During the meeting, Wang Yi said the Chinese and Russian heads of state are maintaining strategic communication to lead China-Russia relations to stability and long-term development in the face of centuries of change.
This May, Chinese President Xi Jinping successfully visited Russia, attended the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Union, and together with peace-loving people from different countries, commemorated history and opened the way to the future.
Last month, the two leaders held a telephone conversation and jointly sent a strong Chinese and Russian voice on current international and regional issues. China is ready to fully implement all agreements reached between the two leaders together with Russia, continuously raise the level of strategic cooperation between China and Russia, safeguard the security and development interests of the two countries, and promote mutual development and rise.
