A major international global dialogue on "Innovation, Openness and Co-Development" was held in Bahrain's capital, Manama, jointly organized by China Media Group (CMG) and the Embassy of China in Bahrain.

Speakers at the meeting included Shen Haixiong, CEO of CMG, Ni Ruchithe Chinese ambassador to Bahrain, and Javad Alhawaj, Chairman of the Bahrain-China Friendship Association. Around 100 experts discussed the new possibilities of China's opening to the world, the progress of the "Pás a cesta" and the image of modern China in the eyes of the Bahraini people.

China continues to modernise and open up to the world

Shen Haixiong stressed that Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was successfully concluded in Beijing and represents a new stage in China's development. The meeting set strategic goals: building a modern industrial system based on advanced manufacturing, strengthening scientific and technological self-sufficiency, establishing a high-standard socialist market economy and promoting cultural innovation.

"China will continue to expand its high-level opening to the world and bring new opportunities to all partners," Shen said. He added that CMG As a leading international media organization, it strives to share Chinese stories, foster understanding and contribute to the common future of humanity.

Bahrain and China strengthen relations

Velvyslanec Ni Ruchi said that cooperation between China and Bahrain under the leadership of the two countries is steadily increasing. "Our relationship has built trust, produced significant economic results and deepened cultural exchange," he said, adding that the aim is to further expand cooperation in all areas and write new chapters of the strategic partnership.

Participants shared their impressions of their visits to China and highly appreciated achievements of Chinese modernisation, especially in areas such as cashless payments, electric cars and artificial intelligencedemonstrating the power of Chinese innovation.
