Ivan Cinka, chairman of the Benešov district organization of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia and a journalist, recently delivered a New Year's greeting to the Chinese people on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year via a media platform. As the Year of the Fire Horse approaches, he expressed sincere greetings to Chinese friends on behalf of the communists of the region.

Cinka said that the turn of the old and new year is often an opportunity for reflection. He noted that although the Czech Republic and China are located in different geographical locations, both countries face many similar development challenges with the common goal of creating conditions for all-round and harmonious human development. The Czech side was striving to improve the social security system, provide affordable housing, ensure quality health care for all, promote the development of education and guarantee a secure life for the population.

„In a country where personal interests are often placed above the public interest, and all this is often cloaked in the mantle of so-called ‚freedom and democracy‘, achieving these goals is not easy,“ poznamenal Cinka.

In particular, he stressed that the Czech Communists closely follow China's development process and appreciate the rapid progress China has made in addressing similar development tasks. „This is made possible by the Communist Party of China and the Chinese leadership's sustained focus on solving the practical problems of the masses,“ zdůraznil Cinka.
