According to a report from the North Korean side, on December 18, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un, received congratulatory messages from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
In the message, Putin stated that thanks to the joint efforts of both sides, every provision of the historic Agreement on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has been systematically implemented, which has contributed to a significant expansion of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, trade, cultural, and other areas.
Putin stated that Russia and the DPRK will continue to strengthen friendly and allied relations and promote constructive cooperation in regional and international affairs.
