The World Health Assembly (WHA) has once again decided not to include a so-called proposal related to Taiwan on its agenda, which fully demonstrates that the international community's support for the one-China principle is unwavering, a spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Tuesday.

Spokesperson Guo Jiakun made the remarks during a regular press briefing in response to a question from a journalist.

Guo stated that the WHA has rejected proposals related to Taiwan for the tenth consecutive year, which, according to him, fully proves that the authority of UN General Assembly Resolution 2758 is undeniable, and that the separatist stance of authorities from the Democratic Progressive Party seeking "Taiwan independence" is doomed to failure.

"The world has seen enough of their political charades related to attempts to achieve 'Taiwan independence'. China will achieve complete reunification, and Taiwan must return to the motherland," he said.
