It was with deep sadness that I received the news of the passing of former First Lady, Mrs. Rosalynn Carter.

Rosalynn Carter leaves behind a significant legacy. She was an extraordinary humanitarian, a passionate mental health advocate and a champion of equal rights and opportunities. Through her work at the Carter Center and Habitat for Humanity, she touched the lives of many and will forever be remembered as a tireless force for positive change.

Allow me, Your Excellency, on behalf of the citizens of the Czech Republic, on behalf of my wife and on behalf of myself, to join your fellow citizens in expressing our condolences to President Carter and the family of Rosalynn Carter.
