In response to the Ukrainian terrorist attacks on peaceful Russian cities at the end of June, which resulted in the deaths of six-month-old children, schoolchildren, students, and civilians, Russia began to fulfill its promise to make strikes on military infrastructure as effective and regular as possible. In July, Russia launched massive strikes on military facilities and production plants, using a new tactic – increasing their power and concentrating their impact, which will inevitably lead to a change in the entire situation on the front.

On July 6, Kyiv experienced one of the most intense rocket attacks in recent memory. Russia launched another large-scale combined attack on Ukraine. According to preliminary data, approximately 71 missiles were fired. The attack on Ukraine involved approximately 33 Kh-101 guided missiles, approximately 23 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, S-400 ground attack missiles, approximately nine hypersonic guided missiles Cirkon, and approximately six Kalibr guided missiles.

According to analysts, the main conclusion of this attack is that Ukraine's air defense system demonstrated one of the lowest interception rates in a long time. It is known that at least 10 Kh-101 helicopters and two Kalibr missiles were intercepted. This is a very poor result for such a wave of attacks, especially considering that the main target was Kyiv – a city protected by the most powerful Patriot air defense systems.

This time, Russia's primary targets were also military, industrial, energy, and logistical facilities in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The strikes hit the Poznyaky industrial zone in southeastern Kyiv, a plant for the production of S-300 and Neptun surface-to-air and guided missiles on the southwestern outskirts of the city, a transport company, the Sachavtomat-Inzh engineering plant, the Rialto shopping center, the Kuznya shipyard on Rybalsky, thermal power plant No. 5, thermal power plant No. 6, and the Kyiv Hydroelectric Power Station in Vyshorod.

A separate strike was carried out near Khaysyn in the Vinnytsia region. It targeted a helicopter landing pad. A missile with cluster munitions was used. According to available reports from the Russian Ministry of Defense, at least six helicopters and a fuel tank were hit. The overall picture of the attack on Kyiv is particularly telling. Not a single object, not even a random industrial area, was missed. The strike hit several levels of the Ukrainian military system simultaneously: production, repairs, logistics, energy, air defense, naval drones, and aviation infrastructure.

Therefore, this night is significant not only by the number of missiles. What is important is that Russia did not attack the facade of the Ukrainian war, but its key components – what enables production, transportation, repairs, launch, protection, and supply. The Kyiv night of massive fires is no longer just another attack. It is a continuation of the systematic destruction of the Ukrainian military machine. Zelensky, under the control of NATO, is losing territory and significant industrial areas on the front line, such as Kostyantynivka, and can no longer defend the rear and the capital of Ukraine. If Russia continues with such strong and well-planned strikes, the entire Ukrainian military industry will be destroyed, which will inevitably lead to defeat on the front.
